Smoking Support - Tackling Indigenous Smoking
Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is a proud partner in the Pilbara Tackling Indigenous Smoking (PTIS) program, working alongside Mawarnkarra and Wirraka Maya Health Services to reduce tobacco use in Aboriginal communities across the Pilbara.
The program focuses on education, prevention, and community-driven support to create smoke-free environments. PAMS contributes to planning, delivering, and reporting regional activities that promote long-term health outcomes and reduce smoking-related illness. Providing clear information about eligibility, access pathways, and contact details helps ensure community members can easily find the support that best meets their needs.
