In honor of International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8 March, we celebrated all the women who are working towards the social, economic, cultural, and political advancement of women in our organisation and the wider community.
As a way of showing appreciation, staff members were invited to nominate a woman in the workplace who inspires them, goes above and beyond in their work, and truly embodies our core values.
We are pleased to announce the winners of the International Women’s Day staff awards. Congratulations to Dr. Wey Mey and Simone who were presented with gifts in recognition from the whole PAMS team. We would also like to recognise the great work of Aakriti, Tarin, Katie and Taslim who were also nominated by their colleagues.
All these incredible women have demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to their role and a passion for making a positive impact in their communities. Thank you to all the women in PAMS, everyone that took time to put forward nominations and our wonderful Human Resource team for making this a success.
The aim of the International Women’s Day theme for 2023 #EmbraceEquity was to get the world talking about why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action. To read more about the theme visit the IWD website.
