Rowan's Walk 2021
Past Event
Rowan's Walk begun four years ago and was created by young indigenous leader Mr Rowan Dann. Rowan had the vision to walk from Port Hedland to South Hedland, in memory of his Aunty who had tragically taken her own life. Rowan wanted to raise awareness of the mental health challenges in his community and to honour and remember those who had lost their lives to suicide.
Rowan’s walk will be held in Newman at 6.00am on August 11th to coincide with multiple other towns across WA.
All are invited to come together and participate.
