PAMS has finally built the Newman-Jigalong link with support from BHP under the Newman clinic co-funding support.
The link will enable PAMS to have access to live patient information data by connecting to the Newman server using the extra bandwidth created.
Low satellite internet bandwidth from Jigalong would have made the above impossible.
This will enable PAMS to deliver telehealth to complement our clinical services.
The link is still being tested with promising results so far.
